Cultivation Curriculum

What is the Program About?

Nobody doubts about the importance of cultivating the 21st Century skills – creativity, collaboration, communication and critical thinking skills, i.e. the 4C Capability. The $64,000 question is: how?

 

Leveraging the essence of Design Thinking methodology from the innovation world, we designed a curriculum tailored to Chinese middle school students to cultivate their 4C Capability.

Four Highlights

1. Localized: A school-based curriculum customized for middle school students in China, with sustainable development topics at its core.

 

2. Validated: The positive correlation between taking the curriculum and the 4C Capability improvement of the students has been verified by a research project in parallel.

 

3. Comprehensive: It includes not only the curriculum, but also the 4C Capability assessment for students, the assessment for teachers, and the best practices.

 

4. Pioneering: Beyond the school-based curriculum, we also explore integrating the educational concepts of design thinking and 4C Capability cultivation into daily subjects teaching.
